Introduction to sock knitting Learn how to use a magic loop to knit socks from the toe up. Optional to knit 2 socks at the same time. Skill level, comfortable with basic knitting skills. Call for supply requirements.
Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving Learn the basics of weaving on the rigid heddle loom. Call if you are interested so we can determine a day. hopefully starting in October. Class is once a week for 3 weeks, about 2 hours each session. Learn the basics of how to warp, weave and finish several small mug rugs. Bring your loom and 2 skeins of yarn of contrasting colors, 2 looms available to borrow. Class limited to 6 cost $50.
Advanced Beginner Rigid Heddle Weaving--learn the next steps to more advanced weaving techniques on the rigid heddle. Call if interested.
Beginning Crochet--learn to make chains, single crochet, and double crochet. After learning the basics we will learn how to make Granny squares. Call if interested.
Advanced Knitting--learn how to use multiple colors and carry the yarn and read a chart to do complex designs as seen with Fair Isle knitting. We will be making a hat. Call if interested.
